学校简介
长春汽车工业高等专科学校(代码11436)组建于1978年，是经教育部批准、由中国一汽集团公司出资的普通高等学校之一。学校在吉林、辽宁、黑龙江、北京、天津、上海、重庆、广东、福建、山东等20多个省市招生，目前各类在校生4000余人,2002年计划招生1500人。学校自创办以来，共培养各类毕业生3.12万人，由于他们把理论与实际有机地结合，技术技能突出，深受用人单位的欢迎。毕业生中先后有150人担任了一汽集团公司高级经理以上职务，3000多人成为高级专业技术人才，涌现出李黄玺、李治国、陈燕洲等一大批在汽车行业乃至全国都颇有影响的专家和劳动模范。近几年毕业生全部被一汽集团公司、一汽--大众汽车有限公司、一汽青岛汽车厂、上海汽车集团公司和安徽叉车总厂等几十家企事业单位录用,毕业生供不应求，就业率在专科院校中一直列前茅。
培养目标明确：学校遵循"服务汽车行业，主动适应社会，加快教学改革，努力办出特色"的办学宗旨，根据市场经济对人才的需求，不断优化学科结构，拓宽专业口径，以严格的校风校纪，培养造就具有够用的理论、实用的技能、创新的思维、良好的人格、健康的体魄的高等技术应用型人才为目标。
师资力量雄厚：学校依托中国一汽集团公司先进的资源优势，培养出一批拥有雄厚的科研实力和以双师型教师为主体的教师队伍，现有专职教师223人，教授、副教授128人，外聘知名专家和客座教授112人。学校还成立了由校长和各学科教授组成的学术、学科建设委员会，决定学科、专业的设置和建设等重要事项，并对教师的教学质量定期进行考察评估，对学生听课及实践环节的学习情况随时进行检查、监督，确保了学科建设和教学质量。我校汽车检测与维修专业成为"国家教改示范"专业，数控技术及应用专业、计算机控制技术专业成为"国家教改试点"专业。
教学和实训设备先进：学校座落于长春市西南部美丽的"汽车城"内，由中心校区、东校区和西校区构成。占地面积17.4万平方米，校舍建筑面积7.1万平方米。学校教学设施先进，有多媒体教室30个、专业实验室44个、占地近万平方米的实习工厂4个、国际化、现代化的校内外实习基地20个。学校加强与国内外的交流与合作，先后与美国微软公司、日本欧姆龙公司、法那克公司、印度NIIT信息技术有限公司、清华大学、哈尔滨工业大学、华中理工大学、吉林大学等单位合作，吸收他们先进的教育思想、教学改革经验、教学管理模式，坚持以提高教学质量为中心，加强学科建设。使我校的汽车技术、计算机控制技术、数控技术及应用等专业在专科院校中具有领先水平。学校被国家教育部命名为《全国职教师资专业技能培训示范单位》和《国家大学生教学实习与社会实践基地》。 教风学风浓郁：学校注重发扬严谨治学，为人师表的教风和勤奋好学，刻苦钻研的学风，坚持寓素质教育于教学的全过程，加强对学生成功心理素质的培育，强化学生自信、自强、自尊、自立的良好品格。经常聘请专家教授进行各种专题讲座，组织学生开展各项学习竞赛活动，在校园内形成了浓郁的学习氛围。我校学生多次获得全国、省、市大学生竞赛大奖。

China Changchun Automobile Industry Institute
A Brief Introduction
China Changchun Automobile Industry Institute (CCAII) was approved by the Ministry of Education of China and it is a normal institute that has enrollment qualifications, which is an institute attached to the FAW Group Corporation.
Changchun Automobile Industry Institute, founded in 1978, and it has about 5000 full-time students from the total of 7000 students of various kinds. The Institute covers an area of about 17,4 acres with a floor space of 71,000 square meters.
The Institute has many modern teaching devices such as 30 multi-media audio labs, 44 professional labs, 4 Practical factories with nearly 10000 square meters and 51 modern practical bases inside and outside school. The Institute has also established cooperative relationship with America Software Company, Indian NIIT Company, and Qinghua University and so on. Today we have applied some hi-tech devices for our teaching. In 2000, the Institute is named as “The Demonstration Unit of the Nation of Teacher Qualification Skill Training”, and “The Nation Hi-tech Talent Training Base – Machinery and Electronics” approved by the Ministry of Education of China in 2004.
The rich human resource consists of a faculty of 425, of whom 310 do teaching and researching, and about 161 are full professors and associate professors.
The Institute is noted for its meticulous scholarship, and has trained students with solid theoretical basis and strong practical abilities. Some students were awarded the State and Province Competition Medals for several times. A large number of National Model Workers and “May Day” Labor Medals such as Li Huangxi, Li Kaijun, Sun Cahngchun and Ma Yuanguo and so on are constantly emerging. They have much influence in the car industry and even in all the country.
Generally speaking, the employment rate of our graduates is one of the best in the colleges. In the recent years, our graduates were employed by FAW, FAW-VW, FAW Qing Dao Auto Company and Shanghai Auto Group Corporation as well as over tens of large enterprises, which have been well received by them.
